#991 When it stops raining right as your watch begins
Posted by Erin on May 23, 2011
Wake ups came way too soon. All you want to do is burrow down deeper into your warm bunk and sleep for a few more hours. And didn’t you see people in foul weather gear before you hit the rack? It even smells like rain and it’s chilly. Siiiiigh. As you make your way to the galley for some coffee, there are a few sodden people from the previous watch looking a bit beleagured and tired.
Heading up on deck, dreading the next few wet hours, there is a glint of moonlight cutting through the clouds. And are those stars? It seems the weather has moved on, just in time for your watch. Awesome.
Thanks, Samara (ASTA Summer Intern ’11) for the Awesome idea!
