Fun Facts

Inland Seas just recently announced they would be hosting a 7-day Teen cruise through Lake Huron in conjunction with Crystalaire Adventures this upcoming summer. This would be an opportune experience for any National Maritime Sailtraining Scholarship applicants to participate in!

The backstory

Established in 1989, Inland Seas Education Association (ISEA) set out to teach culturally diverse students throughout Michigan, the Midwest and beyond about the science and heritage of the Great Lakes. The goal of every program they run is to encourage young people to pursue scientific academic interests related to the Great Lakes to ensure an enhanced understanding and stewardship of the area in the future.

Who Sails

School groups and individuals of all ages.
