2011 Auction Preview – Greek Island Cruise

Posted by Tall Ships America on June 8, 2011

As you lounge on the deck of the boat, gently bobbing in the Mediterranean, the sun so bright and the sea a blue that you’ve only seen in pictures, the condensation from your drink drips slowly down your arm, and you can’t imagine a place you would ever rather be.

You’ve seen the iconic images- stark white church perched on a cliff with the deep azure sea behind it. It’s what you see when you think of the Greek Islands. Now, it can be your experience when you bid on the the Greek Island Cruise through www.varietycruises.com aboard one of their coastal yachts.  The auction item is for two people and includes roundtrip airfare from New York City to Greece. You’ll join 50 other people as you sail on one of three possible cruises: Jewels of the Cyclades, Classical Greece, or Aegean Odyssey (more information on all three available here).  For eight days, you’ll explore, swim and sail your way through the Greek Islands.

This cruise and other prizes  will be auctioned off in two weeks at Harry Anderson’s 90th Birthday Gam, a fundraiser to establish an endowment for the American Sail Training Association and to celebrate the life of Harry Anderson.

Preview the auction here.

  1. The credit for the first image is incorrect. It has been originally published here:

I am trying to get in contact with islandcity.com for the removal of the picture from their website. Please correct the attribution, thank you.
